Hello lovely ladies,
I have *finally* gotten around to formalising the arrangements for the next AWOT meet up! The plan is to head down to Hampstead Heath (I’m thinking near the Ladies’ Pond, obvs) at around 1:30 – 2pm on Saturday 14th July for a big British picnic.
Bring rugs, hampers, paper plates, plastic cups, sausage rolls, sandwiches, cakes, crisps, Pimms, Bucks Fizz, gin, Shloer – whatever takes your fancy. I am sure our usual bakers will put on a good spread, but do please bring something to eat and drink, since we won’t have the luxury of having a bar to ourselves!
We’re moving it outside to celebrate the summer (everyone pray for sunshine) and we’re having it on a Saturday so that our more far reaching members can actually come along. If you’ve never been to a meet up before, don’t be shy. Everyone’s really nice and we always have new people. Hell, we’ve only done it twice, so there are still lots of people I didn’t get a chance to meet the first times around! Find a name label you recognise and head to that person – the rest will follow.
